Keith Bouttell was a partner in the firm for over 20 years and now acts as Consultant to Hardcastle Burton.
He specialises in high-level capital taxation advice, including advising on the use and implications of trusts, and completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners diploma in 2007. Members of STEP include the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates, and this qualification recognises Keith’s expertise in this area.
More recently, Keith regularly advises on the complex tax issues surrounding strategic and development land, including the use of collaboration structures to facilitate the sharing of planning gains between multiple landowners.
Outside of work, Keith is a keen cyclist and can be found most weekends out on the Suffolk roads in ill-fitting lycra. He and his wife have three children, two dogs and two cats.
