Chris joined Hardcastle Burton in 2010 having trained with a practice in Bury St Edmunds. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2009 after 4 years as an associate he was promoted to partner in 2023. Chris provides both accountancy and taxation advice to clients from a variety of industries but with a particular bias towards agriculture, SME’s, high-net worth individuals and charities.
Chris enjoys working alongside his clients to understand their needs and this allows him to offer tailored and personal advice which is delivered using a pragmatic approach. Chris can help you with your tax needs and areas of expertise include R&D claims, Patent Box claims and advising trustees of charitable trusts.
In his downtime Chris is a keen shooter and can often be found touring the country where he enters various clay pigeon shooting competitions. He is also on the Cambridgeshire Committee of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust alongside a number of his clients where they organise events to raise money for the charity.
