As a tax manager here at Hardcastle Burton LLP, Graham is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation (since 2011) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (since 2009).
Having a broad experience of a wide variety of taxes, Graham would be happy to assist on all manner of tax planning issues across both the personal and corporate tax spectrum. An extensive breadth of knowledge gives Graham the ability to make his client’s businesses and their assets work best for them.
Examples of recent projects include:
- Restructuring companies to help meet the conditions for Inheritance Tax Reliefs;
- Advising on steps to achieve Private Residence Relief on the sale of garden land for development.
- Advising on the capital gains tax implications of solar energy projects.
- Providing capital gains tax advice and high level guidance on the surrender of agricultural tenancies and sale of development land.
- Providing Stamp Duty Land Tax advice for partnerships, residential acquisitions and disposals.
Outside of work, when not ferrying his children to sporting events and their various social engagements, Graham can be found using a dog walk or bike ride as an excuse to consume copious amounts of coffee and cake!
