Open Evening and Careers Fairs.

Whilst it seems like only yesterday that our latest cohort of apprentices joined us. As they all come towards the end of their first or even second module of their training courses, our search for our 2024 cohort has begun.

On 9 November, we held our autumn Open Evening at our offices in Royston which allowed prospective applicants to meet our partners and members of the team. Our current trainees were on hand to discuss the training and support they are given at the firm, and what daily life is like working for Hardcastle Burton.

We’ve also been busy attending careers events at local schools meeting with many students and discussing their future plans and opportunities, whether that is taking an apprenticeship after A Levels or joining us on our graduate scheme.

On 13 October, Thomas Pizey and Max Hares attended the Careers Fair at Long Road Sixth Form in Cambridge. Thomas completed his AAT studies with Hardcastle Burton after joining us from college and progressed onto our ACCA programme in 2023.
Max Hares, along with our Practice Manager, Keith Mason, attended the Comberton Village College Careers Carousel on 21 November. Max joined Hardcastle Burton after a gap year and is currently completing his AAT level 4.
Chris Yarrow, a Senior Manager, attended the Uttlesford Careers Fair at Saffron Walden County High School. Chris started his accountancy career by completing his AAT qualifications.

He was joined by Oliver White, Oliver joined us in September 2023 on our ACCA graduate scheme after completing his degree in 2023.

We are now accepting applications for our September 2024 apprenticeship programme, please see our dedicated apprenticeship page for more information. We will be hosting further open evenings in the new year, please register your details below to be contacted about them.
